It's 6 pm U.S. Eastern Time and there are 209 people on the Rebellion Beta--and it's just a beta! I hope this is a sign of good things to come. According to Star Player, there was a big ad for Rebellion on the Steam program. Maybe that means that anyone who loaded up Steam today saw it.
steam is good for online communities i think it will give this game the coverage it needed.
I saw 332 on about three weeks back during the middle of the day, EST.
That might be an all-time record for any version of Sins. The most people I ever saw online for Vanilla was around 280. I hope the numbers keep increasing.
I seen 380 in Entrenchment I believe (or was it early diplo I dont recall).
Considering the day I saw 320, over 3,000,000 people were on Steam--I'd say we have a shot. Promote it to your friends there.

I am thinking about preordering rebellion so I could get into the beta.
how many players are in the beta right now?
Rebellion has been in the top 100 played games on steam for the last several weeks. It's near the bottom, but it's there. Currently ranked at 87 with 610 players currently playing with a daily high of 947 simultaneous players. I saw it at over 1000 simultaneous players a couple weeks ago. Not too shabby for a game still in beta.
Mmmm i think reviews will make this game shine in terms of player base, so, lets wait for launch day!
Well, reviews will mention that you MD in 1/5 of games and VL eats the universe.
Its still in Beta. Be patient.
