Does this Diplomacy bug exist in Rebellion?

Hi everyone,

After playing a few games of Rebellion and getting sick of playing the TEC, I decided to start a game as Advent in Diplomacy. I encountered a bug having to do with the whispers you receive from the AI players.

Normally, when an AI player attacks a planet, they whisper you and say, "Say goodbye to planet X"

However, I had it happen several times where a Vasari ally of mine (both with every mutual pact)was giving this whisper to me when he had a large fleet in orbit of my planet AND there were pirates in the system.

Is this a bug that was perhaps fixed in a recent version of diplomacy? (I'm not confident mine is the latest version) Has anyone else encountered this bug in Rebellion?

I only ask here first because the conditions that bring it about were fairly specific, and might not be encountered frequently in every game.

yes. this is a bug in the most recent build of rebellion.
