TEC Rebels & Occupation Victory

TEC Rebels may be barred from winning an Occupation type victory

from Sins Forums

As the title/sub title states, when playing an Occupation Victory game, the TEC Rebel faction may not be able to win due to the Rebel faction technology that allies neutral AI's with the player. Once the technology is reached, the player is not able to engage the rebel fleet defending the planet, nor bomb the planet. 

 

I did search before hand, nothing looked relevant in the search results. Apologies if the issue is already brought forward.

I have this issue too, best defense for now would be to build a star base to defend both that planet and its star, and then go kill off the other factions.

BTW that titan guarding the planet looks like a giant StarViper with a stick....

I think that Polistes is right; if you are a rebel, and you research the Truce Amongst Rouges, defending the planet is your best option.

I thought the titan looked like a dandelion seed myself.

I'm going to have to go with Dandelion. 

 

Yea you can defend the planet but on a huge map it does make the game a bit longer. (A long game of Sins?!?!) 

 

I just found it odd, and while possibly arbitrary, the goal is capture and defend. :)
