[0.86 Bug?] Forest, hill tiles not looking like forest, hills

I don't know if anything related to this changed with .85 or .86, but all of a sudden I'm noticing it when I didn't on .75 or .77.

Tiles that look like plains are actually hills or forests.  The only way to figure this out is to mouse over them.  In the following picture, the tile to the northwest of my pioneers is a forest tile, even though it looks like a plains tile.  You can see in the upper right that the tile is forest:

In my last game I observed the same thing with tiles that looked like plains actually being hills.

If there was some special  on a forest tile eg: champion camp, loot, or lair but that structure was cleared then the underlying forest will not be drawn again.  Saving and reloading the game may fix this.

I have not noticed plains that are hills.

That may be, but in this case there was nothing on that tile to begin with.  The same game had hills that looked like plains, I just didn't take a separate screen shot.

Try zooming all the way in and then hovering over that tile, it might say the right thing then. The hover info is sometimes imprecise when your zoomed out.

I did that, it was still wrong.  Unfortunately I don't still have the saved game, so I'll watch for it in the next game I start.

In last night's game I had a forest tile, which had nothing on it currently or previously, looking like a plains tile.  I realised only when I went to move through it. :annoyed:

As it turned out I reloaded the game to the beginning of that turn - and now the forest is displayed!

OK here's another one.  In the following screen shot, the three tiles indicated are all river tiles but look like plains:

I discovered it when I moved my pioneers onto the right hand tile and they lost all movement.  Hovering the mouse pointer over those tiles shows that they are river, as you can see in the upper right of the picture.

I tried saving and reloading, and those tiles are still river after reloading.

The saved game is here.

This picture shows where to navigate on the map to find the bad tile locations:

Looking a bit further east, there are also two river tiles that look like plains next to the water shard on the right side of the picture I posted above.

And (same game) the indicated tile looks like plains, but the game thinks it is mountainside:

Well even with this (and I think I've seen it too), the detail map is still a model of accuracy compared to all the missing mountains on the cloth map.

No kidding.  I remember tons of posts about that during the EWoM beta.
