No Key Bug

Won't install

Has anyone had a problem where the install failed... and when you try to reinstall... the install program detects the partial install and tries to delete it?   It crashes with a NO KEY bug.   So, I can not uninstall the game....  and it won't reinstall over the partial install. 

 

Any and all help will be very appreciated!

I have Exactly the same issue, no one has responded back yet, and I've dropped the issue in about 4 different posts.  When(if) I hear anything I will let you know asap.

I have had two different problems that gave me a "NO KEY" error.  In one case, my system clock was set way out of date.  It was set to the year 2031.

In the other case, the program was unable to access the C:\windows\prefetch\ folder.  Neither of these problems was with FE though.  The last one I had to get help from Microsoft to fix.  FE uses the prefetch folder more than any game I have ever encountered and it seems to be their principal error tracing strategy.
