[0.86][crash] Closing battle summary page

I had just finished a battle and had closed the battle summary screen and leveling some heros then the game crashed.

I had saved the game right before the battle since it would be a close one and wanted the option to restore if things went too poorly.  Trying the save game again does not reproduce the crash, but the battle does not go exactly the same and it also occurs a lot closer to the application startup (within minutes rather than hours).

Another crash.  Trying to load an autosave later in the same world as the other crashes:

Each crash was after several hours of play.  I get the idea that if I close the app every hour or two I will not get the crashes.
