0.85 weird AI behaviour

Some pack of wolfes don´t move and don´t attack. You can find them westward of my city. And an army of carodus does nothing too. Here is the savegame...

And what i find strange is. On every large map i started, there are always 1-3 AIs player right next to me.

hmm.... i played a little bit more with the savegame above. I declared war on umber. Hoped to get some breathing space. First thing...i stood for some rounds right next to his city. He had enough peons to kill me, but he did nothing. Then Kulan came (he was not in town) and he attacked me. I could manage to win. After that he sent peon army after peon army and lost many of them. But when he came with Kulan, he had only 1 champ and one unit and Kulan lost 2 times. He had much more units in town.

I could not win the war at all (thats a good thing), but he could have this victory much cheaper. Or maybe i only don´t understand the tactic at all.

(Sry for my english. Hope its understandable)

The AI tends to send their Sovereign in by himself for some reason ... Gilden did that to me (but I think it was on normal).

As for AI starting really close ... is this intentional? To allow a rush for rush players? Or is it something that should have a natural block in the map-gen code.

Likely, this is as good as its going to get (as Civ had similar problems even in IV, I think its just a map gen problem in general)

That being said, in my one game I started a good deal distant from any AIs :)

I noticed the AI stagnating a bunch in my one game on .85 :frogboy:
