Been spending more time figuring stuff out on Daz Studio 4. Still so much to learn, but now I have two render projects on the go. My latest is this..

... my revisualising of Red Riding Hood. Lots of tweaks to make yet, but my understanding of lighting is getting better now. I wanted to have the Werewolves on chains, but I can't find a suitable piece of content. So maybe I'll just leave her 'dogs' running wild and have her packing some heat instead of holding chains, who knows.

Grandma would be proud of her. If she hadn't already become dog chow, that is.

Looks great, Helen! 5*

Interesting characters. Only this 'lil Red Riding Hood' looks like she can kick some serious butt. Very not bad.

Some post lighting effects in Photoshop might give it a bit more realism. Light this:

It's not a sonic proctoscope -- it's the Dr. Who equivalent of Harry Potter's wand; it opens doors, it fixes things by just pointing it at the broken thing.

I have a nice render of a 3 link chain ,it's very realistic looking and you can manipulate it very easily to suite your needs Starcandy, PM me and I can email it to you in a zip if you like.     -- Ace --

Thanks Doc and Uvah!

Also, thank you for the suggestion, Tim. I'm just going to start placing some additional lighting in DS4, which should be enough

Thank you very much for the offer, Ace, but I (finally) managed to get my hands on some chains for DS4. \o/

A little more work done on my Red Riding Hood image. Many thanks to the very helpful folks over at the Daz forums for helping me out with the chains and leather. Still playing around with the chains trying to figure out colour and such forth. The chain on the right is as it came. The chain on the left has been altered to a darker grey. Not sure which looks more natural. Oh, and each chain link has to be individually posed around the Werewolves necks and in her hands. *cough* tedious*cough*, lol.

Some good work being done by the others on this thread. Keep it up, guys and gals! \o/
