Can't move or resize fences

Title says it all, really. I can create new Fences, the double-click feature works, the configure menu appears, everything else works, but I can't select an edge or drag a title bar. Fences are set partly transparent, but that doesn't make a difference. Using the free version on Win7 with two monitors. Any ideas?

Did you lock the Fence?

Zubaz - THANK YOU!!! I too had the same problem. Apparently I never bothered to read all the directions. Your tip on right clicking the Desktop, View, "Lock Fences" solved my problem. Now I can unlock my Fences, adjust, and then relock them. Thanks again. So simple......yet.........

 I had the same problem, now it's solved so thanks!

 

However, the question remains what suddenly locked the fences...?
