MichaelG04, you can unistall Impulse if you wish. All of your updates will go through the store (the url in #1).

There will be an update app coming out fairly soon, and it will do the updating. If you wish to learn more about it: https://forums.wincustomize.com/409931

and the app: https://forums.wincustomize.com/413462

wow, really, 8 months later and still nothing?  thats insane.  i've been away on a mac for about a year, so i've been out of the loop, picked up a new alienware and couldn't wait to skin it, but this seems like such a huge hassle at the moment.  oh well, i guess i'll play the waiting game, would of been nice if there was something on the store renewal page letting me know this, as having a subscription for what, a decade now, i've always had something, stardock central, then impulse, then nothing lol, oh well

Hate to tell you, you'll still have to do it manually.

Have You been hiding under a stone or lived on the moon the last months ? There have been tons of announcements and posts about it.

I've been using SD software since Component Manager (https://www.stardock.com/products/odnt/cm.html).

Every time there's a change people complain.  Stardock Central. Impulse. Stand-alone.

Does it install cool product that I want?   Yes!  Good.  Moving on to the next thing.

c242, yes i have been living under a rock, as i've been using my macbook pro for the past year, i picked up an alienware m14x yesterday, got an email last week the my object desktop sub expired so i renewed it once i got the laptop up.  i tried searching the forums for stuff but it seems the search functionality of this site is extremely limited so i didn't find any concrete answers

Zubaz, i have been using everything since component manager as well, but the nice thing about all those apps, i would know when something was updated, when there was new stuff, it was really easy.  now, it seems that won't be the case, which is really a shame.  doesn't change the software, just makes it more time consuming for customers

i'm just trying to figure out whats going on, since yes i've been out of the loop, and finding stuff on the wincustomize/stardock websites is not very easy, especially since i've been gone for so long

sorry if i pissed anyone off, didn't mean too

The new SDC will notify you when there are updates and download them for you if you set it up that way.  :inlove:

Once it's released, that is.   ;)
