[Suggestion] Levelling Monsters

Give 'em a character class!

Just a little suggestion... Why not let monsters level up, with relevant bonuses? That troll shaman just kicked your sovereign's arse, so give him a level up, a mage class and the ability to beat up your sovereign even more later on!

It'd mean you'd have to actually prioritise taking bigger monsters down, instead of letting them wander, devour your caravans and conquer your cities.

Biggest mistake I’ve seen in new players – trying to “wear down” monsters by sending army after army at them. Kill them or don’t try. Because, like you, they level up.

The monsters in Elemental: FE have been written as if they are the main characters. That is, they have all the capabilities you do. They go up in level, gain new abilities, can get loot, etc. If you’ve ever read the original “I am Legend” you will understand

Yes, monsters already level. They gain mostly hitpoints and a little stats though, I haven't seen anything else go up.

Yet to see it myself. Should definitely be able to use magic or something, though. :D

And they should level up through tim eeven if they don't fight. Or they should expand. More monsters over time if you don't kill them and destroy their lair. It's just too easy at the moment to get rid of them permanently.
