Disable shadow of icon text?

Hi,

 

how can I disable the shadows of the labeling of icons? It makes the labels very hard to read.

Principal is the same for all Windows OS,

Control Panel > System > Advanced System Settings > Look for the groupbox that says "Performance" should be at the top and click "Settings." you'll be displayed this dialog. Just untick "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop".
