Skintuts - Quality Skinning Tutorials

Hmm. I don't seem to be able to checkout the tutorial content without registering

I DID sign up and found the WB tutorial section empty. I figure this is because it's a new site? I was disappointed because I thought there'd BE something in the WB tut section...that's the reason I signed up to begin with.

Thanks for that info Dovelady8, I suspected that there was little or no tutorial content available there though the site claims it has this content "Skintuts has windowblinds, desktopX, icon packager, icon developer, object dock and bootskin tutorials" when it won't let you view anything unless you are registered.

I was a little ticked off, Essencay, when I saw that there was nothing in that tutorial section. I was just trying to be diplomatic in my earlier response. I've been to other sites (totally non-WB related) wherein one needs to register and boy oh BOY have I ever been disappointed. Now these folks have my email address which I do NOT like. >

Too bad I can't UNregister, because I'd do it in a heartbeat. IMO this is deceptive practice to lure an unsuspecting person like myself in like that - I registered thinking that there'd be all kinds of tuts available. Too bad I didn't talk to YOU before I registered!

Sorry for the rant, Essencay. Hope I didn't scare you away & I don't get exiled for my response.

If latin doesn't read this thread and post here or email you that he has removed your registration in a couple of days, I would email him and ask him to remove your registration. He's a decent young kid trying to get some sort of recognition in the skinning community who doesn't always get hints
