[Issue] Pathfinding needs improvement

I ordered my army to move two squares from their current position in the strategic map. The army had two paths to take, one through a forest tile and one through a plains tile. The unit chose to move through the forest tile not reaching the destination square, even though it could've reached it on that turn.

Agreed. This is a problem. There was a hilarious post from WoM called:

Oh... You mean go through the forest? 

I can hardly write it without cracking up.  :rofl:
