[BUG] Some unit traits and equipment not working as described

I designed a unit with the trait Shieldwall (+1 Defense to all units in this unit's army) and equiped him with a Compass (+1 Moves for the army the unit is in).

None of these bonuses seem to work. I grouped the unit in my sovereign's army, but did not get an extra move and no additional defense points for the other units.

Only the unit itself got these bonuses.

Traits like that only work if the unit is the leader of the group.

They should change the shield wall bonus to do what we would think. It should be a thing where each unit with the trait adds another point of defense to all other units in the army. So a 6 person army would get +6 to defense for each unit. And it should not be a usable until you have researched it from the warfare tree.

This needs to be changed. It makes alot of the equipment and traits mostly useless since most armies are lead by a sovereign or champion. And since the game automatically assigns army leaders even less useful. It isn't clear in the description at all that it requires the unit to be the leader. How it should work is that it give the bonus to the army regardless. And maybe for balance have it to where the bonus doesn't stack if other units in the army share the same trait/piece of equipment.

StoweMobile has the jist of it correct. Any unit with traits that effect the army, should affect that army, but not stack with other units/items that possess the same (same not similar) trait. The way it is calculated currently seems like a bug or an oversight.
