cursorfx registration not accepted

now I cannot update

from Stardock Forums

I bought my cursorfx plus registration last may and am now trying to register it with Impulse. I have activated it alright and it runs but lately I am seeing some problems with the cursor freezing, and I thought the update that I see available might solve the problem. But Impulse does not accept the code and I cannot update the program. When I go to my downloads page on Stardock I see the code I am trying to enter listed - I don't understand why Impulse won't accept it.

Help wanted!

If you originally installed through Impulse back then, then uninstall through Impulse and then re-install through the store as Hankers wrote.
