Just bought the game, minidump during my first match

Posted in someone else's thread but I'd rather not hijack it... sounds like he has a different problem.  I just got the game on steam today and played one match.  After maybe 20 minutes the game crashed to desktop and I got a "minidump error"

Haven't installed any mods or anything. I read that they can cause this problem.  It was with the max number of AI on the huge multi random map with highest graphics on- maybe that was too much?

i7 2600k
16GB RAM
GTX 580
Win7 Home Premium 64

Some can, but that shouldn't be the reason not to use them as many expand the fun and enjoyment of the game.  They're not really used online though because most ICO players aren't in it for the shiny new toys a mod can give you, and sometimes it's just too much of a pain to get checksums to match up perfectly with everyone.

Try lowering your graphics to high or medium.  Maybe even play with bloom off.  If your issue was caused by the graphics, you shouldn't crash anymore.  If you still are crashing, try to take a mental snapshot of everything that is happening before the game dumps so that you have more information to provide.
