Windowblinds

WB came free with a BFG video card I purchased for $400, anyway I purchased wb, but only using windowblinds 5.51 this was a long time ago.

My questions are, how long does the trial version of 7 last?

Would i be better off just keeping on using the full version 5.51?

Do I have to repurchase each time there is an update to wb?

From Stardock's FAQ's

Q: Do I have to pay for updates?

A: Generally not. The Object Desktop Network includes 12 months of updates and new components. Minor version updates to other products (like WindowBlinds) are made available to registered users at no charge. For instance, if you purchased WindowBlinds 1.0 you would have had access to over 6 updates at no charge. Only major version changes (like moving from WindowBlinds 1.x to WindowBlinds 2.0) will have an upgrade charge.

The trial is good for 30 days.

There are too many changes and improvements to WB's to list here but if you are running Windows7, you need WB7.xx to make use of all the new sections/features. 5.51 may work but 7.3 is a huge step up and well worth the money, imho.

The stand-alone purchase will get you free updates all the way to the next version number, WB8.xx

I hope this answered your quesions but feel free to ask anything else you like.

Edit: Had to switch computers to post and got beaten by Hankers....ouch. ;)
