ObjectDock Plus - autohide tabs?

I'd like ot have my tabs hidden until I hit a hotspot. I want them completely hidden the same way that I can hide the task bar. When I need access to them then I want to move my mouse to a side of my desktop and have them pop up. Is this currently an option or will the feature be added?

Right click a tab, choose Tab Settings from the menu, in the config dialog, click Positioning > Show dock as drawer. You can use Mouseover activation, or use the Hotspots setting to activate the dock.

Far as I can tell...tabs will always show....but, because you make the tab images with *png files you could make them very transparent or make them narrower and use a smaller font

Oh ... I guess I missed the point. You want the tabs hidden as well.......... that would be counter productive to having a tab in the first place wouldn't it? You can shrink the tab in the Size & Appearance settings, or as Stephen suggests make completely transparent tabs.

Essencay - you got exactly what I mean. I've been trying out the tabs you've uploaded but for some reason they aren't quite as transparent as I would like. Would you mind posting your EXACT settings? When I've used your tabs I want them to have almost 100% transparency so I can only see the outline of the tab. BTW, great work and thanx for uploading them!

My thought was that I could put the tabs on the bottom of my desktop and completely hidden. When I bump the center bottom hotspot then the tabs would bump up and be visible. Maybe to some it sounds weird but I don't like to use any screen space until I need it.

The transparency level is set within the tab images themselves, you can adjust that by opening the tab images in either Photoshop or PSP....unfortunately there is only two tab images for each set of tabs, one for normal tab and one for the Selected tab. Until, if ever, OD+ supports a third state....mouseover....there's not much else that can be done (With a mouseover image you could make the normal and Selected tabs transparent and have the mouseover image visible....giving the appearance that the tabs were always hidden) Another problem is the text on the tabs, It just has one color setting that is used by both the normal tab and the Selected tab and there is no transparency with the text.
