problems with object desktop

I have ESET 5 smart security installed and I don't get any messages. Did you turn it off prior to installing the program(s)?

hi waxplay3r no i did not turn off eset befor installing the programs for object desktop but i do not see why that would make any differences it was happening to me befor with the free trial but i thought i was becaues of the free trial but still same thing with this one i bought

Hm??? Does it only flag your ESET as needing your attention or does it give you a specific message. For instance, does it say port scan detected or anything like that?

What applications are you running from Object Desktop?  Uninstall them one at a time until you find the one that appears to be causing the issue.  Then we can focus on that one.

Edit : @ waxplay3r it only flag my ESET as needing my attention but there is nothing wrong with eset but its annoying seeing that pop up ever like 20 minute

I suspect the problem is with Eset rather than DeskScapes given the lack of other reports of anything even close to similar.

Could it be incorrectly detecting DeskScapes as some sort of virus and be trying to flag this?

Try adding exceptions for Deskscapes in ESET then reboot and see if anything changes.

hi no eset is not flaging deskscapes as a virus its just giveing me a popup telling me that eset require my attenttion and i think its becaues for some reason deskscapes is enableding the gamer mode in eset smart security 5 and it should be disabled and thats why am getting this annoying popup anyone useing eset smart security 5

Does it only happen with certain dreams?  Does it happen with Random Background?

it happen with all dream backgrounds from the frist time i install deskscapes i notice that my eset smart security 5 was missing from my taskbar i had to do a reboot to get it to show up again in the taskbar i was told by eset customer care that this is sometime caues by installation of 3rd party software that files get corrupt some times they told me to try and reinstall eset again to see if this fixes the problem which i dont think its going to but i will try and see what happens

Edit : no it did not work still same time is there anywere that i can download deskscapes 2 and use the same activation key caues deskscapes 3 is not working for me

Edit : i just down grade my eset smart security to 4 from the new one 5 and everthing is working fine now with eset and deskscapes 3 the only thing am not to happy about is that i had to down grade eset to the earlier version 4 so there is a conflict with deskscapes 3 and eset smart security 5 anyone know were i can download deskscapes 2 or if my activation key would work with deskscapes 2 caues i would like to try it out to see if it would work with eset 5
