Meanwhile, try the GPU gadget from here: http://addgadget.com/ As you may know, they make the All CPU gadget. I use it on a daily basis. I also use the Drives gadget and Network meter.
Yep, I've used that one, but it unfortunately doesn't play nice with my card. Can't remember off the top of my head which one I'm using right now...it works "okay," but it's small, has no graph and (most importantly) is a separate widget. *sigh* Yeah, there's stuff that I can make do with, but I want it all. 
I just happen to be one guy who hasn't given up on DX.
Yeah...seems like the forums are semi-dead, and there hasn't been much work on the app itself in a while. Funny thing is, I wanted to check it out because it was Stardock and not some random third-party like Rainmeter, so I thought the support would be better...
I'll keep you in mind for testing and will be glad to hear ideas and stuff from you as well.
