does the game still go out of sync

Me and my friends played this game no end a couple of years back and the multiplayer game kept going out of sync.

We are looking at rebuying trinity on steam and was wondering does the game still go out of sync all the time or was this fixed ina patch?

Well...I think things are certainly better now than they used to be...I can't say which patch specifically may have fixed the issue (or at least helped), but I have not had a desync in a very long time, and I do a fair amount of LAN games....

Desync's probably are still possible, but I'd say they are much less likely now...

If your playing in ICO... I havent seen this bug in a LONG while.

crashes still happen occasionally?

(i crashed recently, but it was my computers fault, not sins)

Desyncs are very rare now.  In fact, it's been a long time since I've seen it happen.

Desyncs are quite rare. It's only happened to me once, a couple months ago, and I play a LOT.

On the other hand, minidumps create serious problems. Minis aren't that common, but when they happen they often completely ruin a game (at least in the common 5v5 on ICO).

ya. the problem with minidumps, is that, quite simply, there are 10 players, and if you got a 2 hour game, well.

thats 20 hours of gameplay.

Play any game for 20 hours straight... its more likely to crash than not.   I consider sins to be amazingly stable for the reason that mini's dont happen EVERY game.

Me and a buddy desynced just the other night... weird, seeing as it hasn't happened for quite some time. He watched his colony ship blow up a good 30 seconds before I saw my ships put in the final volley of missiles... There were 3 or 4 other games on ICO at the time, maybe it was just under load or something. Granted, that's not a horrible desync but one nonetheless.
