WBThumbs7

Why do I have a folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\WBThumb with a bunch of files with the extension .WBThumbs7?

And what's a good tga editor? I have Paintshop X4 but the files seem to get corrupted with it I use Photoshop CS5 and sometimes the tga files work ok sometimes not and Paint.net same thing the tga's are bad when saved. Am I doing something wrong?

I would guess that is where WindowBlinds configuration window gets it's thumbnails for the previews when you open it to choose a skin to load.

Because you have WindowBlinds installed. :) If there is a preview image in WB config, even walls, it will be in there.

Good because I emptied the folder and will wait to see if it gets refreshed

Those files will be recreated if needed.

Deleting them will save some HD space, but obviously the WB UI may respond slower as it rebuilds them when they are needed.

to the tga files cs5 will open them but show them with the alpha mask ( you will have to manually unmask them )

You need a tga plugin for CS5. I had the same problem until a friend here gave me the file. PM me your info and I can send it.

TGA files must be saved as 32 bit and uncompressed.

EDIT: Paint.net should be able to save in this format just fine.  SkinStudio also has the ability to let you use PNG files and it will convert them into suitable TGA files via Import.
