WB install - "Error:File not found" via Impulse or directly

I hadn't tried to run WindowBlinds for a long time, basically since I got my Windows 7 Ultimate 64 up and running. It refuses to install. I uninstalled the old one (it must have worked some time) deleted the directory, and keep trying. The feedback is "Error:File Not Found".  The install I used was fresh just a couple days ago.

ObjectDock seems to be working fine, except for me arguing about shell commands (which I'll address on the OD forum)

You should:

Run a good cleaner like CCleaner and clean the registry.

Reboot.

Install WindowBlinds from the Stardock Store.  Do not use Impulse for this anymore. You just log into your existing Stardock Store account and your prior purchases will be there.

I fixed it by upgrading my ObjectDesktop (which I hadn't even looked at since Windows 7) and got a license for WindowBlinds 7. Wonderful think just installed so happily and started right up - didn't even ask for a reboot.
