OD and impulse???

I'm looking at renewing my OD subscription. Is it okay to do this through impulse?

I think you do this directly through the Stardock Store now.  Try this link.  Object Desktop.

order was declined, they MUST be having some problems, it certainly isn't my credit card. I'll contact sales.

BDBF is correct.

You should make your purchase here:  https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products

After logging in, look for the shopping cart icon-link on the upper right.

the order was declined for some reason and unless amex suddenly went out of business,,, I'm probably not jumping through some new hoop that needs to be jumped through to place an order. my subscription went through in February but that was then.

Then your idea about sales@stardock.com is probably the way to go. Sorry it didn't work for you :)

Just contact sales@stardock.com.

Impulse isn't used for OD renewals anymore.

I went through Stardock, not impulse, figure there is an electronic gummy somewhere in the system, wait for sales to get back to me.

There appear to be hit-n-miss activation issues with the store downloads as well.

Hmm My Subscription expired in July. Last weekend i did my renewal through the stardock store and all worked great.  Instantly my software (Object Desktop) was available again to download and install, each indiviual app.  Downloaded,  installed and activated all my apps.

Guess you will just have to wait and see what stardock sales says.

come to find out that amex blocked the charge as, for some reason, it appeared to be suspicious.

Amex can be a little funny like that - their fraud-prevention algorithms are a tad overprotective at times.

well, it is taken care of. I want to see what other aspects of skinning is appealing to me.
