Adding Textures

Can someone, ANYONE, please tell me how to add textures to windowblinds 7.2? I've googled it, searched it, put textures in the folder, changed file extensions, edited the texture file, nada. WHen I go to create new from image, I can select my image, but the window where you edit/tile, etc never pops up. It DOES, however, let me edit any of the textures already in there. I want to have my OWN, lol. SO, please, someone, help?

My apologies, I seem to have said It wrong. I am familiar with how to add textures, but they never show up. I'm wondering do they have to be a certain size? Located in a certain directory?  I followed the steps to insert my own textures, but they refuse to show up. See illustration. My thanks, for any and all help, in advance. This is REALLY driving me batshit.~ X(

I don't know if this will help at all but try comparing your entries with those already entered and see if there are differences between them. Just guessing here.
