I would like a couple of opinions

from theme authors. I ported an Enlightenment theme awhile back to several applications. I have been trying to locate the author for several weeks to get permission to release it, to no avail. No contact info at themes.org, and the webmaster has none for him either.
Basically the question is, do I upload the skins and take them down if he asks, or just blow it off and keep them private?
I know a few of you frequent some of the linux sites as well, it is the creator of the MorphiusX e-theme and gtk theme that I have been trying to locate.

The rule is....no consent - no upload.
You can upload a screenshot if that will help jog people's memories or help you get connected with the original author.
You cannot re-distribute another's works without permission, though......no matter what form they take....porting/derivation/whatever.
You may just have to be a bit more patient, or more extensive with your search...

That's pretty much what I had decided. Just had to think that sometimes I have had to go a couple of months with no access at all, would be pretty pissed if it happened to me.

thx
