Cannot connect via TCP/IP

Hello, when my friend and I try to play multiplayer (not via ICO), we cannot connect to each other.  Regardless of who hosts, the person trying to connect gets 'Disconnected from Server'.  We both have port 6112 open, and had no problems connecting to each other before I changed my ISP a few months ago.  Is there something else we can try, or should we look into using Hamachi to play Sins?

I tried to play with some mates yesterday and 1 of them had the same problem, however we could play entrenchment NP. I came here hoping to find an answer.
