What's wrong with Load BootSkinXP?

My Load BootSkinXP, that appears like it has been moderated, with a 7 rating. is placed in my personal page. Another BootSkinXP of mine, Digi-Matrix, uploaded in the same time, with rating 6, is placed in Main Gallery. How is possible? Am I missing something? Is there something wrong? 

I'll be very gratefull to everyone will be so kind to answer.

I think it's best that this be taken up with a PM to the Mod for BootSkinXP and not in the forums.

Well, that can be an opinion. There are no serious trouble involved, I just would like to understand what's going on.

What was the original (Mod) rating, and what were the subsequent ones (by viewers)?

Someone (not a Moderator) visiting your Personal Page rated it a 10. Moderators only give it the starting rating and members can rate it up or down from there.

it is possible you accidentally checked off that you wanted it on your PP when you uploaded.

The reason he said that is because asking a moderator would prolly give you a more satisfactory answer. Any answer the public could give you would be mere speculation.

Yeah, that's what I would like to know, Doc. However, I sent a PM to a mod, so I hope to get more detailed info in a not too much long time.

The main point is: if the mods rating was less than 5 (though I can't believe that, truly...) and the skin has been placed in personal page, the viewers should be NOT ALLOWED to change the skin rating with their ones; if they are ALLOWED to do so, in my opinion then a skin should be placed in the Main Gallery. Otherwise it can generate only trouble and confusion...

It's simply not possible that a skin rated 7 is placed in personal page... Just my opinion.

Skins aren't placed in the main gallery based on user votes.  We have lots of galleries to mod, and one person might not see another skin in another gallery queue.

The Mods have two things to 'do' when approving an upload.

1. Determine whether it is appropriate for the Public Galleries or the User's Personal Pages.

2. Insert an appropriate rating, as leaving it on '0' means it will be invisible to the public.

The destination derived at by '1' is the true indicator, not that in '2'.

If and/or when the Public uprates a PP or even downrates a General gallery sub or whatever, well, that's simply life .... the way it's meant to be...;)

 

On a very rare occasion a submission may be inadvertently misplaced/misdirected or even approved without a rating at all, but generally those are soon sorted/resolved. - [typically via PM]

And what has happened here is I pushed the wrong button and sent it to PP, which it should have been in the gallery.  Again though as Jafo said, a simple PM would have cleared it up much quicker.
