Problems with app windows and some blinds

Does anyone know a workaround to this problem:  some window blinds result in applications not being able to be stretched full screen.  They can be maximized with the maximize button but if you try to stretch the app window it sometimes leaves an inch or mor of screen space empty.  For example, the Anomaly blind workes prefectly but the Kistan blind does not.

Just so you don't feel like you're typing into a vacuum...

I loaded up Kistan and played with it, stretches out just fine here.

Thanks for trying it.  I played with various blinds tonight.  Think Green is the worst, leaves nearly 3 inches of space at the bottom of my monitor.  Using Green Plus now and that works perfectly.  What I see happen is I'm always able to stretch the app windows horizontally but some will not stretch vertically to their full height.  Very strange as the maximize button will make them fill the screen.  It's not all apps either.  IE is one of the misbehaving ones but it's not just MS apps.
