May I say, you're a dreamer? But you're not the only one....

replaced object dock on my desktop too. I have been a loyal odbject dock user for quite a few years but nexus unfortunately makes it look decidedly old and slow. If stardock do a major update on Object dock and bring it up to scratch i will more than willingly go back to it but until then i will stick with nexus.

I tried installing it and guess what. Comodo stoped it from installing for it says there is a virus in it.

I will pass on it. dont need spyware in my computer.

Don, purely a false positive. This happens a lot. I had to get rid of Avast because it ALWAYS flagged my widgets and gadgets as malware. Ones I made myself...lol.  False positives all the way.  I use Nexus and I promise you it's ok.

I will trust you on it PDJ. If my computer crashes I will be waiting for my new computer from you

Nexus is the bomb! Works really great right alongside ObjectDock. Try it...you'll like it.

I've been using Winstep Xtreme for a while now (ever since GAotD) on my Win 7 64 bit computers and as much as I used to love OD, the problems with the 64 bit OS were too much.

I also love the fact that the themes can skin all the docks, shelves and task bar at once.  I like to match my Windowblinds and my Winstep themes.

I do miss the tabbed docks you could use like pull-out drawers but I love the sub docks too.  You can use both at the same time. (or those two plus Rocket Dock, Moby Dock Etc.)  With the docks, shelves and menus in Xtreme,  I have it all covered.

Drawers are already on the to-do list, I love those too (first saw them on a Mac app similar to WorkShelf called DragThing).

Drawers, multiple Shelves, native Stacks support and multi-instance modules (so you can have the clock reporting the time in different locations and the weather module displaying conditions in multiple cities), so much to do yet! Yay!
