Back into the heatwave...

Ugh!

Ugh.  The heatwave has returned with a vengance.  By the end of this week my area is supposed to be experiencing 100+ degree (F) temps.  Blech!

These temps and high humidity make me wanna smack people that say they love warmer weather.  Shudddup!  Bring on the cooler weather.  I can always put on more clothes and get warm but when it's this stinkin' hot you just can't cool down, or at least by the time you do it's too late and you need to go back outside, or step out of your car, etc.

Speaking of going outside and outside my car... it's lunch time for me and I'm left contemplating what to eat.  I could sit here in the office and eat cookies, but that is really not good for me.  I think I'll head out shortly, just don't know what I want to eat.  Most likely something Italian, but I don't know until I start shoveling stuff down my piehole.

We have a "Handyman" show down here that I often catch (Saturday mornings).  The guy owns his own business, and says that when they get calls in the winter for heaters going out, people are very understanding - "Yea, tomorrow is fine.  Make it Friday if you get rushed.".  But when the AC goes out, those same understanding people turn into the worst imitations of Rosanne Barr you have ever seen!

Yea, we are expected to be right there with you on the temps.  My wife is not one who looks forward to the heat.  So she is definitely complaining now!  Stay Cool!

LOL.  My soon to be wife complains of her own "personal summers" so she is most definitely not one that likes the heat.

As to cooler weather and HVAC issues, unless it gets down to the freezing mark and stays there for several days I'm pretty patient about waiting for service myself.  The house gets naturally warm anyway, so waiting for a few days just means throwing on some extra blankets for a few days.
