game play slow

Game play slow/stalls every 8 turns or so. Has happened on last few versions.

what is your autosave interval?

At the end of every turn...does that make a difference? I set it that way to guard against crashes but if play is slow that I never get a chance to crash....any suggestion you have would be appreciated. Been playing since last August...not so much lately but I am hopeful.

I also have noticed that amd cpu's are a lot slower in elemental than an intel, but I do not know why or what the cause is.
