Turn off Audio?

How can I turn off the audio of a deskscape?  I have 2 good ones that have really annoying audio loops that repeat ... and repeat .. and repeat .. and repeat..

r-click on your volume control with DS running and select Mixer, you'll see DeskScapes listed. You can control the volume or mute it from there. P.S. CarGuy1 answered this in your other post, with a screenshot to boot.

I couldn't find my other post!  It doesn't even show up in "my posts" at the top, nor under search.  I assume I didn't actually post it -_-

Anyway under volume mixer I see Windows Explorer.  No deskscapes.  Not sure why that is, but, muting it does the trick and I still hear other system sounds as there is a separate "system sounds" listing that remains unmuted.

Thanks, Carguy.  Now I'm more fascinated by why I couldn't find your answer - including taking the time to do a screenshot - than the problem itself which is solved.  When I click on "MY POSTS" that thread now shows up.  It wasn't there yesterday or today.  I swear on my ...hmm...hmm.. what...
