Move the ObjectDock Library to a different Location

HOW TO???

Hi there!

Usually the Locaction is on C.... Documents and Settings....ObjectDock Library....

But since i have a huuuuge Collection of cool Icons (more than 1 Gigabyte), i want to save the Space on C... and put the Library onto another Partition!

So my Question is:

A: Is there somewhere an INI-File where i can point to that new Location???

B: Or is there another way to do so???

C: If i simply would cut that "ObjectDock Libray" and move it to my new Location... will ObjectDock ASK for... where the Library IS, or does it crash then???

Please help me somebody, cause i googled a lot, and also searched the Forum... no real Tip!

Many, many Thanks,

Revanito

I use "Bundled Images" as my icon folder; no particular reason. In any case, you can put your icons anywhere you want. When you right-click on an icon to change it, click "Dock Entry Properties", click "Change Image"; the box that opens has "Browse for an image" link in the lower left-hand corner. That can take you anywhere.

I'm not sure why you would need the .ini file. When you right-click on an icon to change it, and the dialog box with "Change Image" opens, selecting Change Image brings you to the folder that the presently used icon resides in, whereever that might be. That means that ObjectDock knows where your folder is. I'm presuming here that it can follow a path not on C because I haven't tried it on an external source myself. You could try putting a folder on some other drive or memory stick, browse to it as suggested above, select a new icon, and see if ObjectDock "remembers" where the folder is when you right-click on an icon again. I'm betting that it will.
