[1.2b Beta] Feedback and issues with beta

1. Abandoned villages don't show on 3d map. Can see them in cloth map.

2. Need a way to demolish buildings to free up population. Population is much more difficult to control now which is good as long as we have the capacity to manage it.

3. AI committed suicide by walking alone right up to a city I had recently captured from him.

4. No shard spells can be researched. I have both Air and Earth shards but can't research any spells from these areas.

5. Tech/Magic balance is way off. I am reasonably early into the game and have already researched every spell available to me yet I'm not even to level 3 Warfare tech yet.

6. Parties as a starting point are a good thing.

7. There should be a low-level missile weapon available from the start. Perhaps a sling or crude bow.

Over all this is an improvement. But man, the balance is still so far off it isn't funny in terms of tech not being the massive chore it currently is. I really hate the impact Technology has in this game. It is just way too important and dramatic - which is so arse about for a game about magic. I think I'd prefer ditching tech altogether and using city size as the limiter to what can be purchased.

I can confirm item 1. Abandoned villages do not show on the map. You can click on them if you know where they are, and collect the items from it, but cannot see them. (Did not check the cloth map.)

Item 6, I don't remember seeing that parties of 4 was the minimum size now. Apparently you just cannot go below 4 members on any unit you train. Not sure I am a fan of that, it makes everything a lot more costly to train, which can hurt in the early game. Also I tended to like making single scouts for suicide missions ranging as far across the landscape, exploring, as I could; but if those are now groups, not sure I will want to waste that much in resources.

Also, maybe it was just the game I played, but where are the other Champions? I was 50+ turns into the game and had yet to see another Champion. The other sovereigns were already having children with their built in spouse, and I was still trying to find any champion.

And I will agree Tech research seems overly slow now. I have not played in a while, but it seemed to take a long time to get any tech levels.

Noticed a glitch off the bat.  Sometimes pioneers will cost 40 materials instead of 10.  Clicking and unclicking solves this- so listing as a glitch.

Secondly, the increase to specialists- it leads to some ridiculousness when you go on a conquering spree.   My citizenry went up to ridiculous amount as I conquered.

As seen here.

This will take a lot of time I think to rebalance correctly.
