Cannot use Impulse

I use Object Desktop (and have been form quite a number of years...).  My employer has no problem with my using the apps but, even being in the IT department, I am not (for reasons of "security and PCI compliance" allowed to install Impulse.  It is, in fact, automatically prevented from being installed - and deleted if it's found - by our AV Security Suite.

I know that I can back up the apps and reinstall using Impulse, but is there a way to install them individually without installing Impulse?  With earlier versions, I used to be able to do this.
