ObjectBar on Win7?

Hello, I always run stardock on my old XP PC, which was fine. I used it as an additional "taskbar" at the top edge. Now I am up to windows 7, but wanted to keep my top bar. BUT when I load my old profile, my win7 taskbar (which is supposed to be called "superbar") disappears! As that was not the case on my old system, I wonder why? And how can I prevent it? I don't want objectbar to replace, but extend my taskbar... cheers
