Maximum activation reached
End of quote

You will need to email support@stardock.com for them to reset your activation count.

Unfortunately you will have to wait until Tuesday for support to return to work as this is a Holiday weekend.

Do not send more than 1 email in order to keep your position in the response queue.

Never mind. Hankers beat me to it.

email  support@stardock.com and they'll probably reset it for you. email just once and don't reply to the auto-receipt. If you do, your request for help will be kicked to the end of the queue.

Remember, they're on holiday until Tuesday. There'll be a bit of a backlog, but they'll get to you.

Add me to the list of people this happened to ... asks for activation then tells me maximum activations reached.

I see about 3 other posts on this same problem in different Forum catagories since this week-end.

There must be something in the water, I think.

It happen to me too. Not Cool After nine years I felt since everyone was going Windows 7, I would too. I wanted to enjoy all the Windowblinds made for 7. Shouldn't have to activate each application if you brought them as a group in Object Desktop. :( Impulse was suppose to help that.

There appears to be something wrong in the matrix and according to Murphy's Law - Anything that can go wrong will happen on a long weekend.

Stardock support will return to work tomorrow morning and I'm sure this will be a high priority item.

Yes, I just upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP which meant I had to reinstall all my programs. Just found out the problem is with the whole object desktop. All the programs installed from Impulse, but Object Desktop programs would not activate.

This might work for you.

Install windowblinds in Impulse, right click the windowblinds program and copy your serial number.

Close out Impulse and navigate to the directory it's installed at. In the case of Windowblinds, mine is at C:\program files\stardock\object desktop\windowblinds. Click the activate.exe file and enter your cd key and email address and try activating.

This worked for me on Fences Pro earlier today.

Nope didn't work :(

BTW....

LOL It's probably all caused by some disgruntle employee who got canned when GameStop took over. It’s the corporate CEO American way; Buy a company, get rid of a bunch of people cause you don’t REALLY know what they do and or think you don’t need them. Company takes a dump & loose’s customers - Realize you shouldn’t have gotten rid of those employees - Blame the old management - Tell everyone of the new plan YOU have to fix the company - hire new people to fill the positions of the ones you fired in the first place (but take no blame of that) - Tell everyone "thank God I came along" and take ALL the credit for "fixing" the company and get a HUGE bonus!!!! Isn’t America Great!
