'All Program' height not working correctly?

I've recently noticed (last couple of months or so) that some skins which use a height for 'All Programs' larger than 30 or so do not display correctly. It seems that the 'All Programs' height displayed is fixed, and the height value specified in the skin is ignored. Has anyone else run into this problem?

I am running Windowblinds 7.2 or Windows 7 64-bit.

On Win7, the all prog area is 30px high. Reducing or increasing the height value will have no effect.

WB bug or OS limitation?.....not sure :\

I believe that Vampothika indicated in her tutorial that the all program height was limited to 30 pixels. Mine are generally 35 pixels high and haven't noticed any problems but....

You may only notice it if your all prog is somehow tied into neighboring sections (like a design that spans more than the all prog)

 

I keep in mind the 30 px rule when designing and try to make that limitation work for me :P

i keep mine 30 as well, ive just noticed over 30 it acts funny, cuts off the arrow, ect.

I suggest to Michael that you find the windowblind in the windowblind gallery and tell the artist who made it, in the comments section about the problem, then they can fix it and hopefully learn from it.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions. I wonder as well if this is a limitation of Windows 7 or is it possible that a future version of Windowblinds could allow for a larger 'All Programs' height. Hmm.

xp has no limitations....i should know, in my insect music skin i made a HUGE all progs arrow LOL, but i think 7 is more conformative?
