Cannot load any scenarios (Battle of the Gods)

Hi,

Anytime I try to load a scenario to play, it crashes to the desktop immediately.  I can only play normal.  Battle of the Gods, Accelerated Start, etc etc all crash.  I'm on Vista.  Normal scenario loads fine.  Any ideas?

The scenarios in Twilight are all unplayable - I forget the reason, but this will occur with every one. So far, there's been no progress on fixing it, and it's one of the largest outstanding bugs.

 

Hopefully, the final update that's been talked about will fix this, as it's seriously annoying right now.

I'll take a look at the scenarios and see if they can be made to work with Twilight.  They load up in the editor, so there can't be anything very wrong with them.

Edit: There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the scenarios, they load in Twilight.  They could do with some updating though.

Which version of GCII are you running?

There was a problem with the ultimate edition calling for various files from the wrong place. Could you please post your debug.err here (in my documents/my games/ GCII) so we can take a look and see if it is something that you can fix.

I'd thought that was fixed in one of the last TA updates (the game was trying to load campaign videos when loading scenarios, IIRC), so please do let us know what version of TA you're running.

I have Ultimate Edition...v2.02 I think it says.  I will double check when I get home.
