How do i get beta patch ?

Never used impulse before this game.

Can't seems to use this forum properly either.

Couldn't find the sticky. Spent already too much time trying to find out how to do just that. I'm starting to ask myself f my common sense is impaired or is it just the place ? Am i suffering some side effect from playing (or trying to) 1.1 ?

Actually it's easy.  Click on your Impulse icon.  On the far right, to the right of the explore tab, click on the tab then check "show pre release versions"  Then run Elemental and I believe it should update to the 1.19n or whatever the newest version is.  That should do it.

I more or less expected to be forwarded to wherever the forum post telling this is, as i felt the only one wondering how to do it. Whatever.

Thank you. Though, by checking "show beta" and pre-release and then asking to check for updates i got nothing. I ran elemental and got nothing either. Is it not available or something ?

 

Edit: on a sidenote, whoever run this forum didn't learn to sticky the important informations ?

mentalinstra is right, no more beta's for awhile now that 1.2 is out.

I don't know if there was a post with the info that you're looking for, but here's a link to the Impulse guide:

See #10 - Preferences.  The item you want is "Show pre-release versions".  If you check this box you'll be able to play 1.3 betas when they come out.
