I was thinking about it, when i was buying my current compy about a year ago...but i decided not to do it, mainly cause of the power consumption. I know there is the "light" version for these things, which utilizes only one CPU core, whenever allowed, but frankly its kind of waste to run it only on one core, when i have the i7 sixcore CPU.
BTW last time i checked, there was no hybrid CPU/GPU client hich you could just download and run and do not care about anything, you had separate clients, you needed to set it up for every CPU core etc.. really unless the people who program these things put their shit together and create something, you wont need to read shitload of webpages before using it, i am not in.
Disclaimer: As i do not want to look like a prick, looking at my previous words, i really care about good of human race. I had colleague, who died to brain tumour and if somebody told me he could genuinely find the cure to cancer to save him and all the others, i swear to God i would give him all money i have right now on my bank account (not much, but thats not the point) to do it. If at some point at the future ill have my own house/flat and would pay the power bills myself + there will be some obvious knowledge gained off the F@H (not sure it is right now), i will join this no matter how user-unfriendly the whole thing is.
