How about a newbie corner ?

Sorta like a skinning FAQ, brief history, what it's all about and what the most popular programs are, what they do and where you can find/buy them.... Seems to me a LOT of the messages on the board are from newb's asking the same sort of questions.....

As the sites attracting huge amounts of new people every day it might make sense......

Any thoughts.....

Thats a full on grouse (sorry for the australianism there ) And I feel I can speak with authority on this subject as I am definately a newbie... but I've just about redone a skin for my res.. hey what else is there to do at 1:20am.... but as you were saying... I can see alot of people coming to this program as a more friendly alternative they may not be as experienced in other areas regarding stuff even as basic as the creation of graphics... I found DX quite intuitive to use, but I have a fair amount of experience.... but this is just my point of view..

I do plan on doing some enhancements to the site to make it more 'Newbie' friendlier.

Just haven't gotton to it yet. But one of the things I want to do is modify the Community section so we can categorize the links in there (Apps, News, Tutorials, SkinSites, etc....) Maybe this weekend I will be able to get around to some of it.
