Won but lost?

Hi,

I just played a 1v1 game in pantheon and after a long game when I was about to drop his cytatel the game froze and then it told me that I lost the game? Is this a bug? I didn't disconnect and didnt  have lag at any part of the game. I don't really care about ranking infact I was concidering of conceding half way through but I made a great come back and it feels really unfair to lose like this

I could share the replay but I dont know how :P

If this is normal then that's just ok but if it is a cheat or sth then no sorry but I'll resign from demigod

Well I am actually surprised u got a game in pantheon  :D  ,  however I don't think that was cheating...  thus sharing the name of the player u played against (for confirmation ) would be nice.

If it was an invalid gamestate then im pretty sure its a bug with 1 of the non-English versions.

Hi, kinda similar issue here.

 

So in short a won game was awarded with a loss AND dc.. when my teammate FROLIO gets a win. I definitely played the game till the very end (they conceded afaik).

 

This is pretty depressing especially when these are my first games (and a good start is crucial) to not get an "awful newbie" mark slapped on your forehead 8C

what other game are you reffering to? If u are reffering to the game we were talking about in this thread then you shud know that i didnt play in that game i was just trying to help the guy cose i had similar problem.

 

Your problem is entire different to the one we were discussing in this thread. You were dropped with me when i dropped and it wasnt at the end of the game it was like 25 minutes after we started. None of us conceded at that point so you might be thinking of another game. Unfortunately you have to get used to this its just part of demigod...

I'm talking about the match which I linked. As you can see (if you check the link), my teammate FROLIO gets credited a win but I get a loss (and a dc top of that) like I was on the opposite side. It doesn't add up.

Someone care to explain me this? Afaik this is not a "common issue".. which Demigod unfortunately seems to have tons :|

Come on man. Are you really that dense? I know that you  are talking about the game you linked but you said "visca was in this game too" so you must have been thinking of more than just this game. I ask you again, what other game are you referring to?

 

And believe it or not this is a common issue. Happens everytime.

Alright, back to the topic: this is a huge issue if this is "common" Game is won but a lose is credited? Well played Stardock v_v

It does also work the other way around. Sometimes you have a win because everyone else drops out (from your connection) and then you win and everyone else loses. So its not that one-sided. It also doesnt happen that often. Think I lost 2 games and won 1 like this. And I am around 160 games.

Had to think about that comment but now I think it was more philosophical.

 

Reading my post again I should add that for me in my stats I get a win and all others lose while for them some get a win and I am shown as lost with 0 points and a star.

What happened in that match, CrusniK, was:

You played, everything was normal, then either one player left and took one with him or appeared a table with seconds increasing from 1 to 10 usually, and if two players were rejected, they both dropped. Those players were you and some other, so you both saw everyone else leaving/conceding, but in reality it was you dropping. The left players probably finished the match or the losing one conceded.
