Dock is moving by itself

I purchased Objectdock Plus but I am having some trouble with it. Currently I have the dock positioned on the bottom to the left. However when I load another application (Steam) and exit out of it, the dock moves itself slightly higher for no apparent reason. So far I have only discovered it doing it when I use that specific app. Is there any way to permanently lock it in the position I want it in?

The dock moves when you change screen resolution so it will stay on screen. Make sure Steam runs at the same resolution that you normally use or attach the dock to the screen edge.
