Trouble with theme manager 2.00.010

I have tried several times to download Theme Manager 2.00.010, released today 2/18. Previously I had 2.00.008, I believe; and before that, WinStyles 1.50b.014. Even though the previously installed 2.00.008 version was working correctly, the Stardock Central downloader listed that version as not installed. After downloading 2.00.010, Theme Manager crashed every time I tried to run it. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, including the old version of WinStyles. Nothing corrected the problem. Now when I try to download 2.00.010, the download won't complete due to "invalid chunk data." At this point I either had to revert to Winstyles 1.50b.014, or try to download the next beta version of Theme Manager. Downloading the Beta version produced the same results: a crash every time I tried to run the program (through the run box in Stardock Central, or through the properties box on the Win XP desktop).
At this point I have uninstalled Theme Manager and reinstalled WinStyles 1.50b.014, which seems to be working more or less OK.
Anyone have any idea what the heck is going on?

I have exactly the same problem! I'm glad it's not just me. I, too, was working fine with Winstyles, then with Theme Manager 2.00.008. Then, when I upgraded to 2.00.010 it crashes every time I start it. I was also able to uninstall it and re-install Winstyles, which does work fine. Now that 2.00.011 of Theme manager is out I'm going to try that and see what happens

Well, that seemed to do it for me - I uninstalled Winstyles, then installed Theme Manager 2.00.011 and it now works. Go figure.

Yes, 2.00.011 replaced 2.00.010 several hours after I first wrote in. Obviously two updates in one day means that Stardock saw there was a problem and promptly corrected it. Further searching on the message board: news.stardock.com/stardock.od.windows.general reveals the following post from "Kris Kwilas [Stardock]" on 2/18 at 3:01 pm:

"Tried to update the Theme Manager build today prior to starting
the beta for the next major version, but that didn't work out so well
(registry
issues). Had to pull it and roll things back.

"If your thememgr.exe is crashing when you load it and you updated today,
uninstall/reinstall it.

Installing 2.00.011 after it became available finally corrected the problem for me, as well. Other then an afternoon blown, all's well that ends well.
