How do I .....

First time for everything, I don't even know if I'm in the right place, but here goes.

Abut 1 year ago, I purchased "Object Dock Plus" and was using it on my Toshiba 17" laptop simply because I prefer working with tabs.

However, during this last week, my laptop experienced a major crisis and crashed wiping my HD,  effectively removing everything including my purchased copy of "ODP" and I then was forced to reinstall Windows Vista OS from two backup 4.7gig DVD's.

Can somebody please tell me what I should or could do to re-register my current copy since everything was removed from the HD.

Install Impulse and use the logon you regularly use to logon... If OD+ doesn't appear in the "My Software" tab, go to preferences in the left blue tab and "reset data".

If that doesn't work, fire off an email to support@stardock.com . Fill them in with as much data as you can.

Maybe you should start backing up?

Also, Impulse can archive so as you updated, it should have done that (unless you ticked not to archive)... and when you reinstall Impulse, you should be able to reinstall through it.

Should be in Support > Object Dock.

If you download and install Impulse (www.impulsedriven.com) you should be able to login with your account and download ObjectDock Plus.

If you did not use Impulse before you can also obtain the link to the most recent standalone installer for ObjectDock by going to https://www.stardock.com/support/ and entering your e-mail address.
