OD2 - Tab alignment - where is it?

Where can one set the tab alignment of a tabbed dock?

Yes in the .inf file which will open in notepad. When you make changes in order to see them you have to save the inf then change the backfround of the dock, now you can change it to the one you are making the adjustments to and look to see what it did. Best way to do this is to make the change by using a different number of 5 or 10, don't change by one till you can see which ones do what you want. Try changing numbers after

OutsideBorderTop = 15
OutsideBorderBottom = 20
ContentBufferRight = 30
ContentBufferLeft = 20

There are other seetings you can mess with also.

Do one at a time and remember what the number was before you started as you will want to leave some where they are. You can't hurt anything if you adjust the wrong thing as long as you put it back. Trial and error is the way you will learn. Good luch and have fun.

I don't see any values in the .ini file that change the alignment of the tabs...

ah! I digged into an old backup I had. found CurrentTheme.ini tabsAlign was set to 1 I then opened the CurrentTheme for my current OD2 and found tabsAlign=0 After setting tabsAlign=1 and restarting OD I now have my tabs aligned to the left again. :)
