RIP David Broder

News reports (via USA Today and others) that reporter David Broder has passed away from complications of diabetes.

Personally I think I could easily insert the word "respected" or words "well respected" in front of the word reporter in that sentence.  Where Helen Thomas was a bitter, grumpy and hateful old bag, Broder was always, at least to me, respectful and in turn earned the respect he got.

I'm sorry to see and/or hear of his passing but I respect the heck out of his long career.

RIP Mr. Broder.
